For the price, this is about as good as it gets. My single room was cosy, clean and spacious enough. The kitchen/dining area was nice, and had a friendly atmosphere with the other guests. The shared toilets and showers were very clean. The location is pretty much perfect for any tourist, Soderdalm is a cool area and you can get to central station in 15-20 minutes. The staff were very friendly as well. Thanks again to Diana, who was kind enough to let me use her phone when I had to call my airline.

Probably my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve seen my fair share! I booked a private room, and they are small but so incredibly cute/cozy. The kitchen is awesome/well-equipped, with a very nice seating area. I love the book wall and chalkboard of recommendations! Showers were clean and well-kept (with toilets/showers always free, though it might be worse in the peak seasons). Overall a GREAT value for the price :) The only thing I’d say is that it’s not worth paying the extra for a window room - my window was a ceiling window and it was covered in snow anyway. Plus, if you’re just in your room in the evening to sleep, there’s no need for the extra daylight.

Absolutely the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had. When I entered my room, there was an unbearable smell, and the room hadn’t been cleaned at all, trash everywhere, and alcohol cans on the floor. A man was sitting inside, and the receptionist later told me he was refusing to shower and was supposed to leave earlier that week. They promised he would be gone when I returned, but he was still there. I was expected to stay alone in a 5-bed dorm with someone who hadn’t showered, wasn’t supposed to be there, and clearly made the room unsafe. When I called the emergency line, they said they couldn’t do anything. I had to leave at night with my belongings and sleep on the floor at a friend’s place. The next day, the staff offered no real solution. They claimed they “forced him to shower” and cleaned the room, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. When I explained that I didn’t feel safe staying with him, they just stared at me and said there was nothing they could do. I’ve stayed in more than 10 hostels across Europe, and this was by far the dirtiest, smallest, and most claustrophobic one. I ended up not staying a single night, yet paid for the entire booking while sleeping elsewhere for 3 nights. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great location, just 4 stations from T-Central and close to the city center. The room was a bit small : we were 3 people staying in a private 4-bed bunk room. Unfortunately, there was no fridge in the room. We stayed for 2 nights, and overall, for the price and quality, it was excellent. The people here are friendly. There is also a shared kitchen, which is very convenient. Everything works with key cards, and the place is very clean and well organized. It actually reminded me a bit of my university days—in a good (and slightly funny) way 🙂 The only downside is that the windows face an outdoor area where people usually smoke, so the smell sometimes comes into the room.

Had a good experience in this hostel, met some great people who happened to be in my room! Went for a concert in Stockholm, good location for travellers who need a place near! Check in was straightforward once I read the instructions, but no staff to be seen my entire stay (besides cleaning staff). Rooms were nice with good lockers with locks provided and good plug outlets beside bed. Negatives are that you had to put your own bedsheets on, which is fine but not ideal if arriving late as it can be noisy/ a bit of an ordeal if you have a top bunk. Also wifi code was never provided so had no wifi my entire stay and nobody to contact regarding this. Overall good value decent hostel and I would return on my next trip to stockholm!
