1. 16sq. mtr room is marketed and sold as a 20sq.mtr room. Its basically a glorified/polished container box. There is no space even to unpack/open your luggage. This is outright fraud and cheating. 2. Air conditioning is very poor. Despite such a small room size, it takes nearly an hour for the room to reach the set temperature even if you open the door even once. The staff too has confirmed the same that it takes 30min to 1hour to reach the desired cooling after closing the room doors. 3. Air conditioning break downs frequently. We had booked 17 rooms for our a group of 34 people. 3 to 4 had broken AC. One of them shifted in the middle of the night to a new room. On complaining the first time, the engineer came and fixed the filter. However the staff blamed us for keeping the door open. On complaining again, I was assured that the staff if coming only to realize that they were lying. Had to go physically to the reception and get the room changed. They were hoping that I would sleep with the broken AC instead of taking the pain to come down to the reception. On top of that the windows don't open. You don't have any ventilation as well. 3. The doors and walls are very thin. You can hear every door closing and even the slightest noise/conversation from nearby rooms. 4. The staff is very cold and unhelpful. Despite acknowledging the known problem about the AC they try to blame the guest for keeping the doors open. How is the guest supposed to breathe with no AC and no ventilation? If you are frustrated and get angry at the staff, they threaten you to throw you out of the hotel in the middle of the night by calling the police. 5. The windows are completely transparent. The nearby bldg people can peep in to your rooms anytime and hence the curtains need to be kept drawn all the time. 6. I am vegetarian so didn't find much options in breakfast. There were some fruits but they would get finished fast and then not refilled even during valid breakfast hours. When I checked reviews of this hotel after facing the above problems, multiple guests have reported the same issues.

Wink is a modern western style hotel with amazing hospitable positive staff members and maintained really well. They serve a nice breakfast and have great laundry and gym facilities. Laundry is 80,000K for washer and same for dryer. The rooms are quite small but very clean and fresh. On the second day due to our globalist status we were able to upgrade to a larger room with a loft as the second bed which was more comfy than the side to side twin beds. Thank you to all the staff who even during their holiday Tet were so kind and shout out to Vi Ma who was so helpful throughout our stay. I definitely recommend this hotel, it’s also in a nice business side of town that has just enough action and many connivence stores but not too chaotic, and just a 5 min walk to Chabad.

I stayed from Jan 31-Feb 4 and would definitely recommend. All the staff are wonderful and always happy to assist. I especially want to thank Trình who logistically supported me during a financial emergency. For that level of service, I will always be a customer. The breakfast is delicious with rotating Vietnamese cuisine everyday in addition to the standard continental breakfast options. They offer 24h dining and bar options with a daily happy hour consisting with classic cocktails and creative Vietnamese cocktails. Outside breakfast hours, they offer snacks for purchase and a microwave in the lobby for those evenings you have leftovers to consume. The rooms can be a bit small for 2; but enough for 1 (limited storage for more than 1 luggage). As a solo traveler, it was perfect amount of space. They also offer a gym with treadmills, free weights, cable weights, and yoga mats that’s open 24h. Self service laundry machines and dedicated workspace make it convenient to launder clothes as well as work remotely. I definitely would recommend for solo travelers. Space may be an issue for families. Couples traveling lightly may be comfortable (queen bed) but more than 2 luggages may be too cramped.

We arrived at 5am and found there isn't really a front desk and the guy was fast asleep on one of the benches 🤣 we didn't know he worked there until a colleague came to wake him up. We were placed on the 10th floor and was surprised that they serve breakfast buffet style. The room itself is quite small and compact but has everything we need for our 4 night stay. The pillow and mattress were actually quite comfortable. They also have self serve laundry but rate is kinda pricey, one of the dryer was broken though and didn't dry our clothes. Thankfully another guest was ironing his clothes, he informed that the washer included detergent automatically so that was nice. They also have a decent sized gym. What we really enjoyed was the breakfast buffet, they serve fresh fruits, juices, assorted pastries and local food like pho, bahn mi, congees, we looked forward to this every morning of our stay. The location is good since we could order grab anywhere and very affordable too. There are a couple convenience stores nearby. Most of the staff are quite young but you can see they are hard-working, hope they keep up the good work and maintain this place well

Reliable global brand quality with an incredible breakfast! While Ho Chih Minh City has many local boutique hotels, this property stands out by offering the consistency and standards of a global chain while remaining very affordable. Accessibility: A massive plus - the hotel is completely step-free to the hotel entrance, which is a rare and vital find when navigating Ho Chi Minh City. It also has a proper driveway for drop off so there is no rush to hop on and off in the traffic. The Breakfast: I was suitably impressed! It was included in my stay and offered a fresh, high-quality variety of both local and Western dishes, and you get an excellent selection of fruit, salad, breads, eggs, and even kombucha! The Vibe: The ground floor is a great social hub to get some work done or have a drink. Things to Note: The Space: Rooms and bathrooms are on the much smaller side. The rooms are not fully sound proof and I would recommend bringing ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The aircon was not also fully cold even though I had it at 18 deg. Location: The area is relatively quiet, with several nice cafes and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Overall, a great choice if you want the peace of mind that comes with a global brand without breaking the bank and a relatively new hotel with cheerful vibes.
